Forgot your password, setting up or resetting 2FA, or troubleshooting login issues on the eConnect platform and Control.
Can't log in, forgotten your password, or do you want to set up or reset two-factor authentication (2FA)? Read what to do per situation.
Search variants: "platform login credentials", "request login credentials", "request for login details", "account created by support", "send login details", "new platform login credentials".
eConnect does not send a separate Platform account or password when you request login credentials. Register yourself at https://platform.econnect.eu with an email address and password, or via Single Sign-On (Microsoft or Google). Then add your organisation and click Activate now -- see Add and activate an organisation. Already have an account but lost your password? Use Forgot password below.
eConnect has two login pages. Which one you need depends on the product you use:
platform.econnect.eu)https://platform.econnect.euhttps://identity.econnect.euSearch variants: "logging in to control.econnect.eu not working", "error on control.econnect.eu", "Control login via identity", "login to Control fails", "where do I log in on platform", "login page unclear", "can't reach it via the regular website", "login link econnect website", "bookmark platform.econnect.eu".
Can't find Platform via the company website or support portal? Open the Platform login directly: https://platform.econnect.eu. Bookmark that URL for repeat use.
The web host for Control is control.econnect.eu, but you log in to Control/PSB via https://identity.econnect.eu. After a successful identity login you land in Control.
The wrong login page is by far the most common cause of "my account does not exist". A PSB account does not work on platform.econnect.eu, and a Platform account does not work on identity.econnect.eu. Not sure? Try both.
PSB users -- two separate accounts: the PSB Control portal account (for logging in to Control via
identity.econnect.eu) is a different account from the technical API connection account (for integrations such as Business Central). The Control portal account nowadays almost always works with an email address as login; the API connection account works with a username. Existing and older customers may have both credentials. For Business Central integrations, the email address is also often used for the API connection.
On the login page of platform.econnect.eu, placeholder text or raw i18n keys (for example {{lang.text}} or I18N_COLLABRR_WS.*) sometimes appear instead of normal labels. Users often report this as "I can't log in".
Cause: browser auto-translation (automatic translation in Chrome or Edge) interferes with the page. This is the same root cause as the Peppol send button that does not respond.
Solution:
platform.econnect.eu.More context: Sending errors -- browser auto-translation.
Search variants: "password change not working", "no email when changing password", "reset email not arriving", "forgot password no email", "password reset no email".
Without an active session, changing your password is the same as self-service Forgot password (not: changing your password in your profile while already logged in). First choose the correct login page (Platform vs. Identity server -- see table above), then follow the steps below.
Diagnostic checklist if the reset email does not arrive: (a) used the correct portal, (b) entered the exact login email address, (c) checked the spam folder and waited 15 minutes, (d) for the Identity server: has the email address been verified?, (e) none of the above helps: contact support for a manual reset. Do not just send a bare link to the login page without going through this checklist.
platform.econnect.eu)Go to https://platform.econnect.eu.
Click Forgot password below the login form.
Enter the email address you use to log in. You will receive an email with a reset link (also check your spam folder).
Click the link in the email and choose a new password.
identity.econnect.eu)Go to https://identity.econnect.eu.
Click Forgot password and enter your email address.
Important: this function only works if your email address has been verified. Verification happens once after the account is created. If you do not receive a reset email, your address may not yet be verified. Contact support in that case.
support@econnect.eu.Two-factor authentication adds a second step to logging in: in addition to your password, the system asks for a time-based code from an authenticator app (such as Microsoft Authenticator or Google Authenticator). For Control/PSB (identity.econnect.eu): Microsoft Authenticator and other TOTP apps are supported; SMS authentication is not supported.
Log in to platform.econnect.eu (or identity.econnect.eu, depending on your product). Go to My profile or Security settings and choose Enable two-factor authentication.
Open the authenticator app on your phone and scan the QR code that the portal shows.
Enter the first code from the app to confirm that the link works.
Keep the recovery codes shown somewhere safe, for example in a password manager. With a recovery code you can log in again if you lose your phone.
From the next login, the portal will first ask for your password and then for a 6-digit code from the app.
Got a new phone or is the authenticator app no longer working? There are two options:
support@econnect.eu. We will verify your identity before disabling 2FA.Logging in via Single Sign-On (Microsoft, Google or your organisation's own identity provider)? eConnect itself does not request a second factor — that is handled by your organisation's identity provider. 2FA settings on the eConnect side only apply to accounts with their own password.
Does your organisation use eHerkenning, but does someone without eHerkenning still need access — for example an accounting firm or an external contact? That is possible. An administrator invites that person via User management on platform.econnect.eu. The invited user receives an invitation email and then creates an account with an email address and password. eHerkenning is not required for regular Platform access.
Security advice: logging in with only a username and password is strongly discouraged. Always enable 2FA for such accounts. eConnect will make two-factor authentication mandatory in the future — anticipate this by enabling 2FA now.
Search variants: "account access", "cannot log in eHerkenning", "eHerkenning not working", "email verified login not working", "user not created platform", "We-id error", "eHerkenning broker", "cannot view invoices after eHerkenning login", "login error econnect", "403 error eConnect", "API403 eHerkenning platform", "403 after We-ID login data retrieval".
An error message when logging in with eHerkenning (also known as We-id) usually has one of three causes. Check them in this order -- two of them often occur simultaneously.
platform.econnect.eu (see "Invited users" above). eHerkenning is not required for regular access. When in doubt, always check A and C, not just check B: "contact eHerkenning" without the other two checks often does not solve the problem.
