Connect ECI Inventive with eConnect via the SOAP API. This is a complex setup that cannot be performed by the customer. Configuration is done by ECI or in collaboration with eConnect.
Create connection keys in the eConnect platform. Follow the steps in Create connection keys.
ECI must activate the following functions in your Inventive environment: E-Invoices, Create E-Invoices, E-Purchase Invoices, E-Purchase Invoice Lines, Purchase E-Invoice to Purchase Invoice, E-Connection User Groups and E-Connection Link. Contact ECI to arrange this.
After activating the functions, assign rights to user groups via User Groups Desktop on the Function privileges & properties tab.
Go to Financial preferences administration and fill in the following fields under the eConnect heading: Customer Key, Customer Secret, Created by, Delivery Email Address and Company ID.
Then set the Access URL and Name Space in Financial preferences db:
