Connect Exact Globe with eConnect via the Digital Mailbox in Exact Online. You need at least update 413 of Exact Globe. The Digital Mailbox is included with the Exact Globe licence.

Before you start
  • An active eConnect account with at least a Basic subscription
  • Exact Globe update 413 or higher
  • Access to Exact Online (the Digital Mailbox works via Exact Online)
Setting up the connection
Step 1: Create the Digital Mailbox

The Digital Mailbox is created automatically when you log in to the Exact Online eConnect portal. If automatic creation fails, you can create the mailbox manually:

  1. In Exact Online, go to My Exact Online > My contact details.
  2. Go to My digital mailboxes and click Add.
  3. Create a mailbox with the address: <kvk-number>@facturen.econnect.eu
  4. Select the administration and click Save.
Step 2: Configure the email address in Exact Globe
  1. In Exact Globe, go to System > Settings > Administration settings.
  2. Enter the email address next to Digital mailbox: <kvk-number>@facturen.econnect.eu.
Step 3: Retrieve invoices

When invoices are ready in the Digital Mailbox, the count appears in the purchase journal. Click Refresh to import the invoices.

Tip: It may take a few minutes before a new Digital Mailbox becomes available.

Frequently asked questions
Which version of Exact Globe do I need for the connection?

You need at least update 413 of Exact Globe. The Digital Mailbox is included with the Exact Globe licence and works via Exact Online, so you also need access to Exact Online.

Can I also send sales invoices with Exact Globe via eConnect?

No, the Digital Mailbox integration is only available for receiving purchase invoices. You can send sales invoices via the eConnect platform or via another integration method.

What if the Digital Mailbox is not created automatically?

You can create the mailbox manually in Exact Online via My Exact Online > My contact details > My digital mailboxes. Use the format <kvk-number>@facturen.econnect.eu as the email address. It may take a few minutes before the mailbox is usable.
