Connect Twinfield via the Email Receiver for sending. Receive via Basecone.

Note — Peppol connection ending on 31 December 2026. Wolters Kluwer (parent company of Twinfield) has launched its own Peppol Access Point. As a result, the Peppol partnership between eConnect and Twinfield will end on 31 December 2026. In 2026, you connect Twinfield with eConnect via the Email Receiver. Sales invoices are sent by email from Twinfield to eConnect and set up as draft invoices, which you can then send via Peppol. For receiving purchase invoices, you use the Basecone connection — Twinfield and Basecone work together for automatic delivery.

Setting up the connection (sending)
  1. Create an eConnect account and activate your organization.
  2. Set your subscription to at least Basic.
  3. Create a trusted email sender for Draft invoices.
  4. Pass the generated email address to your Twinfield configuration or set it in your package.
  5. Send invoices from Twinfield to the eConnect address — they are set up as draft invoices on the platform.
Receiving purchase invoices

A separate Basecone connection is required for receiving purchase invoices. Basecone delivers invoices automatically to your administration. See Connect Basecone with eConnect for the setup.

Can I also receive purchase invoices via eConnect with Twinfield?

Not via the Twinfield connection itself. For receiving purchase invoices you need a separate Basecone connection. Twinfield and Basecone work together for automatic delivery of purchase invoices to your administration.

How are sales invoices sent from Twinfield?

Invoices are sent by email from Twinfield to the eConnect address and set up as draft invoices on the platform. You then review the invoice and send it manually via Peppol.

Which subscription do I need for the Twinfield connection?

A Basic subscription with eConnect is sufficient. No separate contract is required. The connection works via the Email Receiver (Trusted Sender) and only requires setting up a trusted email sender.
