Connect Yoobi to eConnect via the Email Receiver to send sales invoices via Peppol.

With Yoobi you send sales invoices via eConnect in 2026 by using the Email Receiver. Invoices are sent by email to eConnect and queued as draft invoices on the platform, after which you send them via Peppol to the recipient. Only sales invoices are supported via this integration.

Before you begin
  • An active eConnect account with at least a Basic subscription
  • Access to your Yoobi environment
  • Sufficient transaction credits on your eConnect account
Setting up the integration
Step 1: Create a trusted sender in eConnect
  1. Log in to platform.econnect.eu.
  2. Go to Email Receiver in the left menu.
  3. Click New sender and create a trusted email sender for Draft invoices.
  4. Note the generated eConnect email address. You will need this in the next step.
Step 2: Set up the email address in Yoobi
  1. Go to Settings > Invoicing in Yoobi.
  2. Set the generated eConnect email address as the sending address for invoices.
  3. Make sure invoices are sent as PDF (with attached UBL file) to the eConnect address.
Step 3: Send invoices

Invoices that Yoobi sends to the eConnect address are automatically queued as draft invoices on the platform. The further process:

  1. The invoice appears as a draft invoice in your eConnect Outbox.
  2. Check the invoice details (recipient, amounts, VAT).
  3. Click Send to send the invoice via Peppol.
  4. The delivery status is immediately visible in the Outbox.
Important notes
  • Only sales invoices are supported via this integration. Receiving purchase invoices is not available via Yoobi.
  • Do you also want to receive purchase invoices? Consider an additional integration with, for example, Basecone.
  • Invoices are queued as drafts and must be manually checked and released for sending via Peppol.
Frequently asked questions
Can I also receive purchase invoices via eConnect with Yoobi?

No, the Yoobi integration only supports sending sales invoices. If you also want to receive purchase invoices, you can set up an additional integration with, for example, Basecone.

Are invoices automatically sent via Peppol from Yoobi?

No, invoices are queued as draft invoices on the eConnect platform. You check the invoice details (recipient, amounts, VAT) and then manually release them for sending via Peppol.

Does my invoice need to contain a UBL attachment?

Yes, for sending via Peppol the invoice must contain a valid UBL file as an attachment. Make sure Yoobi is configured to send invoices as PDF with an attached UBL file to the eConnect address.
