With Bloxs you receive purchase invoices via eConnect. The integration works via connection keys: Bloxs periodically polls the eConnect platform for new invoices.

Before you begin
  • An active eConnect account with at least a Basic subscription
  • Your eConnect connection keys (App Key and Secret)
Setting up the integration
Step 1: Create connection keys

Create connection keys in the eConnect platform. Follow the steps in Create connection keys.

Step 2: Send keys to Bloxs

Email the connection keys to [email protected]. Bloxs will configure the integration on their side and notify you when the environment is ready to use.

The email address you use to forward invoices to eConnect must be registered in the platform. This can be done in two ways:

  • Same domain: create an additional account in the eConnect environment and add it to the organisation.
  • Different domain: create a trusted email sender so the email address is authorised to submit invoices for the organisation.
Processing invoices in Bloxs

Bloxs periodically polls the platform for new documents. When invoices are available, they are automatically retrieved. In Bloxs, you will find the invoices under To process. Check the automatically populated information, add any missing details, and click Process definitively.

Can I also send sales invoices via eConnect with Bloxs?

No, the Bloxs integration only supports receiving purchase invoices. Bloxs periodically polls the eConnect platform and automatically retrieves new invoices.

Do I also need to set up a trusted email sender with Bloxs?

It depends on your workflow. If you forward invoices to eConnect by email, the sender address must be registered in the platform. You can create an additional account or set up a trusted email sender via the Email Receiver.

How quickly are new invoices visible in Bloxs?

Bloxs periodically polls the eConnect platform for new documents. Once invoices are available, they are automatically retrieved and appear under "To process" in Bloxs.
